    New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC)

For more than ten years, the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) has been the designated training arm for the New York State Citizenship Initiative, providing citizenship and legal services training and technical assistance to all grantee organizations that receive state citizenship funding.

Now, as part of the National Partnership for New Americans, the NYIC will provide trainings to staff of nonprofit immigration legal service organizations and attorneys to help them build capacity to assist people to file citizenship and naturalization applications with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

The trainings will cover the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) Recognition and Accreditation application process as well as Citizenship & Naturalization Law. The NYIC will provide technical assistance on these topics to the participants in these trainings as well as to the members of the NPNA.
