    Step 4: Oath Ceremony

    Once your application is approved, you will receive a notice from USCIS to attend an Oath ceremony to obtain your certificate of naturalization. USCIS will notify you as to where and when your Oath ceremony will take place. In some cases you will be given your ceremony date the same day you pass your interview exam.
